Introducing some basic car models in Vietnam market

If we classify vehicles by design and use, we will have 08 popular car models as follows:

1. SEDAN SERIES

  • It is understood as a 4-door vehicle with 4-5 seats.
  • 3 separate compartment: the engine compartment, passenger compartment and luggage compartment are separate from the main compartment.
  • Example: Toyota Camry; Hyundai Elantra; KIA Cerato; Honda City; Mitsubishi Attrage,...
Honda City belongs to the Sedan car line.

 

2. TYPE HATCHBACK

  • There is a rear end that does not stretch like a sedan.
  • The car has 5 doors, the 5th door is designed to connect the luggage compartment.

3. SUV LINE

  • Long-distance, off-road vehicle because of the high chassis design.
  • The car consists of 5 doors with a luggage compartment connecting the passenger compartment like the HB car.

4. CUV SERIES (CROSSOVER ULTILITY VEHICLE)

  • Is a combination of SUV and Hatchback.
  • Spacious space, high ground clearance is not inferior to SUVs.

5. MPV SERIES (MULTI PURPOSE VEHICLE)

  • Designed to carry passengers or for families with high demand for carrying people and goods.
  • The standout feature is the rather short head; The body is elongated, bigger and taller to help take advantage of aerodynamics when moving.

6. PICK-UP SERIES (Pick-up)

  • Is a small truck model with a closed cabin and a rear cargo box serving both passenger and cargo needs.
  • The frame structure is quite similar to that of a large SUV with a powerful engine, good off-road ability, but better traction and load capacity than MPVs.

7. COUPÉ SERIES

8. CONVERTIBLE
