"Motorbike Care Day" is a community campaign of three Japanese parts companies NGK - IRC - Idemitsu, with the goal of helping vehicle drivers raise awareness of using motorcycles and driving safer. The program has cared for tens of thousands of motorcycles across the country, for 06 consecutive years from 2014 - 2020.

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the campaign was postponed, until July 2022, it returned to a more monumental scale, promptly meeting the needs of checking vehicles, updating new information with modern technology. For the first time, the program was held in Phuc Yen city - Vinh Phuc province.

 Motorbike Care Day is a community campaign co-organized by NGK Spark Plugs - Idemitsu Viscos and IRC Tires.

Attending the program were the representatives of the heads of firms in Vietnam. According to Mr. Kazuhiko Kozaki - General Director of NGK Spark Plugs Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), with a developed locality like Vinh Phuc, the event will attract the attention of more than 5,000 motorbike customers, more than 1,000 vehicles in Vinh Phuc and surrounding areas. Through a team of skilled technicians, people can rest assured because the vehicle is carefully and comprehensively tested, and has just acquired some useful knowledge to ensure that the car is more durable and fuel efficient. Professionalism and dedication have long been the business philosophy of Japanese businesses.

Indeed, in parallel with putting each car into the care area, experts do not hesitate to share practical knowledge, improve people's understanding of life expectancy, spark plug use time, how to calculate when to pay attention to inspection, recommend car owners to change spark plugs periodically every 8,000 km. Similarly, the expert also advises car owners on changing oil and using tires, helping people proactively prevent risks that are likely to be caused to road users.

Based on the actual situation, since 5/2002, the situation of flooding and local flooding occurred in Vinh Yen city and some other localities such as Binh Xuyen and Phuc Yen quite often, many customers pay special attention to self-handling skills when the car is turned off due to passing through the flooded area. NGK's experts have instructed vehicle owners on how to disassemble and use spark plugs properly to help the car engine operate continuously, smoothly, ensuring traffic throughout.

Customers are consulted by the company's specialists with knowledge of spark plug care and preservation.

In addition to efforts to take care of vehicles for people, the program also raises funds for charity, spending funds to support children from families affected by traffic accidents in the province. This humane action is also implemented by the three companies in virtually all national Motorbike Care Day campaigns.

In addition to consulting and car care activities, the program also integrates many interesting activities on the sidelines, creating more vivid colors for the event: product display booths, game areas... and there are always practical gifts for visitors.

Thus, when the population is constantly increasing due to urbanization and economic development, the need to own personal vehicles such as motorcycles is increasing, accompanying people to take care of and preserve vehicles will help vehicles prolong their life and contribute to reducing environmental pollution.
