On July 03, select member from Niterra’s Asian organizations visited the Niterra Place at the Osaka-Kansai Expo’s “Future Society Showcase” pavilion. Among them was Mr. Tran Thanh Kha, General Manager of Niterra Vietnam, who passionately spoke about his self-published book, “KEN – Will Tomorrow Be Life of Death?”.
(Interviewer: Corporate Communications Department).
(Q-CC Dept): Mr. Kha, congratulations on your publication! It’s quite inspiring to be interviewing you here at the Expo. First, couldyou tell us what promoted you to write this book?
Mr. Kha: Thank you. It’s truly an honor. T wrote this book for the younger generation navigating these rapidly changing times, particularly for the youth of Vietnam, I feel many people are lost, unsure of how to find themselves. I wanted to create a book that would serve as a compass, guiding them to forge their own paths. My own experiences, consantly questioning whether I was truly living or merely surviving, were a major motivation.
(Q-CC Dept): Could you elaborate on the book’s content?
Mr. Kha: The protagonist, Ken, is a young man struggling with addiction, confussion, and despair. Through an encounter with a mentor, he ambarks on a journey of self-discovery. The story depicts hod growth as he experiences Vietnam’s rich nature and history, encountering various philosophies and tools, such as the PDCA cycle, I’ve actually woven in my own 20+ years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly 12 years at Niterra, and even Niterra’s core spirit, “Ignite your Spirit” into the narrative.
(Q-CC Dept): That’s fascinating. We understand the book also features well-being exercises.
Mr. Kha: Yes, in the “ETC: Exercise to Change” section, I introduce a 30-minute exercise I developed called “SCD 30”. It combines sports, physical activity, and mental awareness to promote both physical and mental well-being. I even took the photo myself to show how these exercises can be incorporated into daily life. I hope readers will not only read the book but also actively practice these exercises.
(Q-CC Dept): That’s wonderful! Finally, do you have a message for Niterra Group employees?
Mr. Kha: To eveyone at Niterra Group, thank you for your continued cooperation. Let’s continue to grow not only skills but also our spirits, and together create a workplace filled with empathy and purpose. Your well-being is the foundation upon which we contribute to the world. Let’s discover our own Ikigai (reason of being) and create new value!
