HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF INDUSTRY INVITES REPRESENTATIVES OF SPARK PLUG NGK TO ATTEND THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR
On 19th October, 2022; as a guest, representatives of NGK Spark Plugs (Vietnam) attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2022-2023 school year of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry (IUH), at Military Zone 7 Stadium – Ho Chi Minh City.
The opening ceremony of the school was held solemnly and magnificently with the participation of the entire School Board, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, leaders of departments, representatives of domestic and foreign enterprises, press agencies and nearly 10,000 new students of the whole school.
Military Zone 7 Stadium gathered more than 10,000 IUH freshmen to participate in the opening ceremony of the shool year 2022-2023.
Representatives of the IUH School Board and honored guests were solemnly welcomed at the event.
Mr. Phan Hong Hai - Principal of the school said: "The school year 2021-2022 is a school year with many difficulties due to the raging Covid-19 pandemic, affecting the teaching and learning process of lecturers and students of the whole school. However, teachers and students have achieved very proud results in all aspects, which is an important foundation to facilitate the school to perform well in the new school year."

Receiving the invitation from the school, the representative of NGK Spark Plugs (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. – Director Tran Thanh Kha was also honored to be present at this ceremony.
During the last two years, NGK Vietnam spark plugs have accompanied the school through many activities for students, especially students studying Automotive Engineering. The company has sponsored and supported events organized by the school with cash or gifts, as well as coordinated to organize many practical programs such as Car Care Service Tour, Recruitment Day ...
In addition, representatives of NGK Company are also very enthusiastic when personally coming to the school to conduct seminars, inspire and motivate students, provide career counseling and help them expand their thinking and vision. Even during the pandemic, NGK Vietnam still provides opportunities for IUH students to acquire useful social knowledge through online presentations.
Coming to the opening ceremony this year, NGK Company sent the school many meaningful gifts for new students, including many learning tools to serve the new school year. Thereby, NGK Vietnam spark plug sends the desire to create better learning conditions for young people, fueling their passion for learning.
The Opening Ceremony took place from afternoon to evening in an outdoor space, but unfortunately encountered adverse weather, heavy rain and prolonged rain. However, it was not for this reason that the event became less exciting. The performances elaborately invested by students and teachers still took place as planned. The presence of famous artists also contributes to stirring up the atmosphere. In particular, the program honors students with excellent achievements, input and output valedictorians.
Also during the event, the school expressed its deep gratitude to the businesses that have been cooperating and accompanying the school. Despite the bad weather, representatives of Bugi NGK Vietnam still sat down to watch the entire main development of the event from beginning to end.

After the event, representatives of NGK Vietnam highly appreciated the careful preparation of the Organizing Committee, and thanked the Faculty of Automotive Engineering for inviting the Company to participate in an important event of the school. During this academic year, NGK Vietnam will continue to maintain activities to support students, in addition to helping Automotive Engineering become a strong training field, registered by more and more students.

Mini Car Racing 2025 has officially come to a close, leaving a strong impression not only for its excitement and creativity, but also as a testament to the efforts in promoting new technology training and connecting modern engineering with real-life applications.
The highlight of the event was the open Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to directly express their concerns, aspirations, and engage in practical discussions with the speaker about career paths, dreams, and future orientations.
Recently, on November 13, 2022, NGK Spark Plugs Vietnam chose Viet Tiep Motor, 337 To Hien Thanh, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City as the place to implement this activity. Supporting Viet Tiep store is NGK's staff. As long as the car owners bring their car to the shop, Viet Tiep's experts and NGK staff will bring the car in, remove the spark plugs to check the spark plug condition, advise the car owner on the spot whether the spark plug is right or not. or not, explain the reason scientifically and clearly to the guest.
Nearly 200 guests came to this event. Everyone had unforgettable moments of meeting, exchanging and bonding. Closing the program was a "dance", although it was outside the script, but it was extremely enjoyable by all representatives of the two companies NGK-IRC, general agents and all guests.
For the first time, two leading Japanese motorcycle parts manufacturers, NGK Spark Plugs and IRC Tires, jointly held a Technical Workshop and Customer Gratitude event in Kien Giang province. The event took place on November 4, 2022 at a large hotel located in the center of Rach Gia City.
