"RESCUE SPARK PLUGS" - A RESPONSE SOLUTION TO HELP VEHICLES OVERCOME ENGINE STALLS CAUSED BY FLOODING
After a long time of studying the traffic situation in the rainy season in Vietnam, the Board of Directors of NGK Spark Plugs Company (Vietnam) has planned to implement a community project with practical meaning, to rescue people who have problems on flooded roads. The series of activities called "Rescue spark plugs" received the support of local authorities, the reception of many volunteer organizations and "street knights". It is highly educational and has an impact on students. The beginning of this series of activities is the event "Spark plug rescue drill" and the launch of the first spark plug ATM in Vietnam on 11th Dec, 2021.

During the typhoon season in many localities across the country in general and particularly in Ho Chi Minh City. In HCM, the image of many roads falling into waterlogging is not too strange. When heavy rains or high tides, people have to face many difficulties when moving. Their vehicles are prone to shutdowns and stalls along the road, most of which are caused by spark plug ignition failure.
With the desire to support people to quickly fix problems on the way to return home safely, NGK spark plugs - which have the advantage of being the world's No. 1 enterprise in spark plug products, came up with the idea of organizing "spark plug rescue drills" and inventing spark plug ATMs.
On the day of the rehearsal and launch of ATM spark plugs, representatives of NGK Spark Plugs Company (Vietnam) personally attended, gave the opening speech and sent the message of the business. True to the definition of "spark plugs are the heart of the engine", the call for "Rescue spark plugs" has lit a fire of enthusiasm in volunteers from all over the country to accompany NGK in districts in Ho Chi Minh City. This is a program with humanistic meaning to support people when they encounter problems. We will create conditions for faculty and students to participate effectively." Indeed, that day the students of Cao Thang School arrived very early and crowded. They pay attention to learning from teachers and experts, observing practice changing patterns to be able to master and apply in practice.
