[HAIPHONG - October 2016] WHY CHANGE SPARK PLUGS PERIODICALLY EVERY 8,000 KM?
This is one of the official events organized by the world's No. 1 spark plug company NGK and Tuyet Hai genuine NGK spark plug shop at No. 1/E240 Da Nang, Van My Ward, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City, taking place on 2 days 8th - 9th December, 2016.
According to the survey, Hai Phong city has a population of more than 2 million people, including more than 800,000 motorbike users. In order to help customers understand the importance of replacing spark plugs periodically, on 8th - 9th October, NGK Vietnam spark plugs organized a program to care - consult and maintain motorcycle spark plugs at Tuyet Hai store.
This event aims to answer customers' concerns related to the life of spark plugs, when to replace spark plugs, as well as advise customers on how to choose the right spark plugs for each type of vehicle, how to distinguish fake spark plug products to ensure perfect operation of motorcycle engines.
Spark plugs are the heart of the engine, priming the explosive reaction in the combustion chamber, which directly affects the performance of the engine. The habit of motorcycle users often only changes spark plugs when there is no longer the ability to light the bait, causing the engine to stall.
But according to recommendations from NGK Vietnam experts and Honda Vietnam, customers should replace spark plugs periodically every 8,000 km (equivalent to 01 year of use) or periodically check each oil change to minimize problems that may be encountered when operating motorcycles such as fuel consumption, difficulty starting, stalling of the car, and poor acceleration.
In 2016, NGK continuously organized direct customer outreach events, to help motorcycle owners gradually form the habit of regularly checking and maintaining vehicles, as well as changing the habit of using overdue spark plugs to avoid damage to motorcycle engines.
At the event, NGK Vietnam spark plugs also officially awarded the certificate of genuine NGK spark plug authorized store in Hai Phong to Tuyet Hai store.
With the desire to bring quality products to consumers, as well as contribute to protecting people's motorcycles from unnecessary damage, NGK Vietnam expects car consumers after this event to always replace spark plugs periodically every 8,000 km. NGK Vietnam has also prepared attractive gifts exclusively for the motorbike owners in Hai Phong participated in the event.

Recently, on November 13, 2022, NGK Spark Plugs Vietnam chose Viet Tiep Motor, 337 To Hien Thanh, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City as the place to implement this activity. Supporting Viet Tiep store is NGK's staff. For the first time, two leading Japanese motorcycle parts manufacturers, NGK Spark Plugs and IRC Tires, jointly held a Technical Workshop and Customer Gratitude event in Kien Giang province. The event took place on November 4, 2022 at a large hotel located in the center of Rach Gia City.
